What is BRIX ?

The Building Research Index (BRIX) is a quarterly survey of the outlook for building and construction . It is based on the sentiments expressed by member firms of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors. The survey is collected quarterly in all Australian states and territories. The survey monitors information on the prospects for building activity and price movements, and has in the past proved a reliable indicator of construction activity.
